A couple from Phoenix, Arizona hired Timberline in October of 2018 to address their $88,000 liability, which was in active collections, so we formally requested a hold of enforced collection action to begin negotiations with the Internal Revenue Service. By the end of December 2018, an Installment Agreement was established for the client to reach a resolution on the account and avoid any further collection activity.
